## Reviews
### Stepi - 4/5
*June 2026*

A well-maintained, attractive gravel parking area. Overnight stays cost €9 via the ticket machine. All other activities require payment by inserting coins into the designated pillars. It's a shame that the pitches with tables and chairs are occupied by other campers; we had to squeeze into a corner as the spaces were apparently reserved. Therefore, one star is deducted. The castle with its museum, the riding school, and the old town are all easily accessible on foot.

A "very good" rating would be too generous. We'd say three pluses. We can confirm much of what previous reviewers have written. The ticket machine takes some getting used to, but cashless payment is possible. TV reception is generally available. You might want to move your campervan forward a bit to avoid the trees.

It's best to avoid arriving in the evening if you plan to stay overnight.

Short-term parking is available.

### Schade - 5/5
*September 2025*

A good base for visiting the village, castle, and helicopter museum. The latter is highly recommended. What you see there is truly extraordinary. The village is also charming with a few unique shops and many terraces.
Definitely worth it.
