Still a great spot. No traffic to be heard. In the woods, good satellite reception. Along a hiking trail. Everything is being renovated. Left in poor condition by the previous owner. The Harz tourist tax is high, but you get a Harz card for it. See photo.

A great place for one night; it's been completely renovated. I don't see any sign indicating payment. There is indeed traffic noise during the day and buses arriving and departing. The adjacent library has free Wi-Fi, and there's a restroom at the bus station.

Perfect place! had no problems. We were with a number of campers. Mining museum with guided tour very interesting.
