Yes, the site doesn't have water or waste disposal facilities, but it's a very charming and well-maintained little campsite in a very quiet location. You can cycle to Stade, for example (approx. 12km, a very nice bike ride).

Well suited for a 1-2 day break.

A beautiful, quiet place. Definitely worth stopping by. We took a lovely walk and enjoyed the view. Tides.

A parking area for campervans on the Elbe River. The Assel water sports club is located here. Nicely done and free of charge. There's a donation box. It's a quiet spot and we're happy.
