Full again. Nice spot but cramped pitches. We found a beautiful, fully equipped campsite in Ihlowerfehn by a small swimming lake with a beach. 19 pitches.

We are hesitant about giving a fourth star (due to the available facilities and the extremely friendly harbourmasters), but we were not happy with the layout of the motorhome site. Well, that is, if you have a spot in the first row. In the end, we got a spot in the third row (tight for a 7.8m camper). The site was permanently full (high season?). The town itself is clearly a victim of WWII; little original history, but a wide choice of restaurants.

The campsite itself, with its infrastructure and location, is excellent. However, the early morning noise from traffic and construction is considerable.
