After a lovely walk around the Thülsfeld reservoir, we spent the night on the large meadow in front of the campground. Apparently, you're only allowed to stay there for one night. The meadow is huge, with a large playground next to it. There are no waste disposal facilities. It's very quiet at night. Restaurants are within sight. We opted for delicious fish from the fish stand by the entrance.

the entire site has been sold to an Albanian investor since 01-01-2024, the campsite must be cleared for new-build holiday homes, Döpke or Deeken is a nice alternative I think

on arrival a very unfriendly woman. when she heard we wanted to book 1 night she had no place.
we wanted to go to the toilet had to pay 5 euros for that. the toilets were very filthy with vomit and feces. think it is a given campsite.
