It will amaze you; at first glance, the campsite appears messy. Long grass, and you can see that it is drawing to a close in the season. The owner was very friendly and showed us to a great spot. A highlight of this campsite—you wouldn't expect that—the toilet block was in perfect condition. Clean, with nice showers and washing facilities. My compliments. We have certainly seen it differently.

We arrived at this campsite on Sept 26 while passing through.
The field was occupied by five campers / caravans.

The owner was very friendly and gave us a sunny spot.

The sanitary facilities and showers were very clean.

The campsite was very quiet.

This has been a very nice transit campsite for us. So, not a stopover parking lot. Friendly owner. And a lovely spot to take the dog for a walk and let it swim. It is a pity, though, that our dog didn't get the message from a permanent ‘resident’: “don’t pee.” He just barely didn't make it to the first tree outside the campsite. Definitely recommended for a quiet camping spot and a transit campsite.
