It was a very nice campsite for us. Cozy, with regular caravans as well. We stayed on the field by the Weser, where you can walk straight onto the bike path along the Weser with your dog. Friendly manager with a nice barbecue evening on Fridays. Good cycling along the Weser.

What a messy place; there's a sign saying caravans aren't allowed on the campsite. But look at all the caravans parked there... drove on quickly.

The campsite itself is very crowded and basic. The riverside pitches are lovely.
The toilets are okay, but the showers are absolutely terrible. The water flow is intermittent, with hot and cold water, and a poor water pressure, and a charge of €0.50 per 3 minutes. Tip: set your phone alarm loud enough to start the day one minute before.
The surrounding area is well worth a visit: the town and Sensoria museum are beautiful, and cycling around the river is fantastic. The Corvey Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is very impressive.
The large supermarket and lovely indoor and outdoor pools are nearby.
