Upon arrival, the phone went unanswered. After investigating, it turned out the owner was sitting in the barn drinking beer and said he would be right there. Well, he didn't come! He sent his daughter? over to us; we were told to just find a spot in a field cordoned off with ribbons. The sanitary facilities were supposedly in the barn where the owner was sitting drinking beer! To put it in plain Dutch, it felt downright rude. We moved on quickly.

Great place, easily accessible, even for large motorhomes. We ate at the lakeside restaurant. Excellent food. Also lovely for dogs. The hosts are clearly passionate about their work. When we were there, they even invited us to a barbecue. And so we sat together comfortably in the evenings, enjoying a beer. Where else can you find something like that?

A wonderful place, neat and tidy, with an authentic atmosphere of rural idyll. The area offers a wealth of exceptional cycling opportunities. Being welcomed by a kind and hospitable host only adds to the positive impression
