What the town of Northeim offers is actually a good thing. The location is okay, it's quite noisy, the motorway practically runs right through the campervan, but we knew that. What we found much more worrying was the constant stream of cars driving through the parking lot, again and again.

You can hear the motorway quite clearly at night, but if that doesn't bother you, the spot is nice and quiet. We stayed there for one night. 24 hours/€6. Electricity is €1 for 2 kWh. Water (10 liters) costs €0.10. Unfortunately, it didn't work today. The lake is right here; you can reach it for swimming in a few hundred meters. Greywater wastewater can also be disposed of here. We thought it was quite good here 👍

Ideal as an overnight spot… Sure, you can hear the highway… we like to stay here when we're driving north… Since we're used to traffic noise, it doesn't bother us.

You can also leave a skylight open… the noise is monotonous… so just go with it.
