Nice campsite, within walking distance of the impressive ship lift and the accompanying museum, both of which are free to enter. The Aldi is also nearby and accessible via a desire path (open from 7 am to 9 pm).

A restaurant (Rusticus) with a small menu is also close by. All in all, fine if you are just passing through. We were now also able to pay contactless.

Neat camper site with all amenities. Police station as a neighbor, so no disturbance. No shaded spots. Sufficient power hook-ups with €1 coins. Parking fees also paid with €2 or €1 coins. Checking the date on the screen is not always accurate.

A really cozy and quiet spot; if you don't need electricity, you can park on the grass. The ship lift is very interesting, and cycling along the canal to the Elbe is recommended.

Disadvantage: Payment is only accepted with coins.
