We can't handle the noise from that motorway. Really way too much noise. Fortunately, there is another lovely camper spot nearby in the center of Schuttorf, and it's even free. It's nice by the water, and there are plenty of benches (and loungers) you can use.

Time for a 2026 update on this campsite. Super beautiful and clean sanitary building. The campsite itself is quiet and has no entertainment, but if you walk 200 meters off the campsite, you have a beautiful lake with a large beach and a restaurant. The only downsides are the slow internet and the highway, which you can hear at night.
