Great spot. We’ve been coming here for years. This time we ate at the Imbiss Schell Genuss (about 700 meters from the camper pitch) in the village. Schnitzel with hunter's sauce.

Delicious, large, lots of fries. Ice cream very tasty, very friendly staff.

Both the camper pitch and the snack bar are highly recommended.

To VillaVerderop: What is it with camper owners who just expect municipalities to give us free access always and everywhere? It is a huge parking lot *full* of other campers, parked in spots not designated for campers. Not our type of camper spot, but fine for a stopover. Should I complain? You can empty your waste, the municipality keeps it clean. Stop with the haughty camper demands and accept that holidays cost money. Buy a tent.

Good camper pitch.

No camping behavior.

I don't consider sitting quietly on a chair in front of the camper having a drink to be camping behavior.

Camping behavior is barbecuing, playing tennis, football, etc.

The rumor is that it will become a paid site. That would be a shame.

We stayed there for 2 nights.
We spent 150 euros on fuel in the nice little town. If we have to pay for the camper pitch, we'll drive on.

Thanks for now, Municipal Council. See you later?
