Naturcampingplatz Alt-Reddevitz

We agree with all previous reviews regarding friendliness, relaxation, showers, and lovely spacious pitches. The price for two people, including electricity, is indeed +€40.00. But, as everywhere on Rügen, the price is driven up by the tourist tax. The beauty of this campsite is its location, perfect for wonderful bike rides in the surrounding area. A boat trip with your bike to the market square in Thiessow and back by bike. And there's so much more to do.

Even though the campsite was full, I was able to stay two nights in the "countryside." There was a lovely, spacious spot in the garden of a holiday home that was still being renovated. The internet connection was poor there (even from my own provider). The showers were nice and warm and there was no time limit (don't expect modern bathroom facilities). The owners were super friendly. A beautiful area for cycling (though there were some steep hills).

We stayed here for 7 nights. The owner is a wonderfully kind man who takes the time to welcome guests and find a good spot. The internet is excellent, with vouchers for phones and iPads. The showers are hot and included. The pitches are spacious and straight. At the homemade reception desk, there's a visible swallow's nest. Very nice to see. The owner is a nature expert and enthusiast.
