Have been many times in the past, now back again after 3 years. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. Sanitary facilities not clean and were broken here and there. Poorly maintained road with many potholes. This was once a Top Platz. Xanten within walking distance was wonderful.
Expensive CP. €65 for two nights. Places quite slanted. Sanitary facilities not really clean and showers get cold quickly. Plus point: the center of Xanten within walking distance.
Neat camper place. The size of the pitches is fine. Blocks are needed. About 700 meters from the nice cozy town. Costs € 15 per night, excl. tourist tax (€ 2 pp/per night). To use the beautiful and clean sanitary facilities (€ 4 for 2 people per night). Requires code for this. And do you want electricity? (€4.50 per night). So you can make it as “expensive” as you want. But... then don't complain about the price afterwards
