2 stars because of the restaurant (which I don't think belongs to the campsite). €35 for a camper, 2 people, and electricity for 1 night is too much for what is offered. Payment for the shower is only possible with a debit card or credit card. And I have truly never seen a camera dome in the vestibule of the sanitary block anywhere else 😳 No second time for us.

For a campsite close to the center (8km) of a large city like Cologne, Camping am Waldbad is a good choice. An alternative is the “ReiseMobilHafen” motorhome site, but we cycled past there later and it seemed very packed and cramped. Camping am Waldbad has spacious pitches for motorhomes of all lengths with electricity. The sanitary facilities are dated, but clean and function perfectly (good shower!). The organization is disorganized, but OK.
