Behind the farmhouse is a mini campsite. Pitches are spacious and level. The view is amazing! Getting off with the camper is a bit tricky, but the owner had cleared the passage through the barn. This was easy to do. Refilled the water right away.

This is a mini camping site with a swimming pool. The camping sites are beautiful and flat. 
The owner speaks several languages perfectly, including Dutch. The camping site has a restaurant with a particularly good kitchen, which would not be out of place as a star restaurant. The area is the beautiful Sauerland with its beautiful rolling hills. You can walk and cycle there. 
The enthusiastic owner is a good 'Gastgeber' and helpful.

indeed messy and perhaps not an ideal campsite for children. But all places have a fantastic view. The children who are there now have a great time building huts in the woods. It's just what you want or are used to.
The sanitary facilities are neat and tidy, are also kept clean, nothing to criticize. We have come across worse at mini campsites in the Netherlands where you also have to pay for it
