Perhaps not quite worth 5 stars, but thanks to the extremely friendly and informative welcome and the good catering, it still gets 5 stars.

Large pitches with electricity and water connections, neat sanitary facilities, good location relative to Trier and Saarburg. Good walking opportunities, even with a dog, directly from the campsite; wonderfully quiet.
Unfortunately, you cannot swim in the river, the Moselle.
We paid 31.50 euros per night, 2 people, 1 dog plus electricity; showering costs €1.

Excellent, spacious camper pitches and we paid €25 per night. Great base for cycling to Trier, and on our rainy days taking the train to Trier or Luxembourg City. Highly recommended.

Fine campsite for a few nights. The sanitary facilities are very clean, but during a busy period with 3 showers per gender, they are a bit limited, and you have to pay 1 euro for a few minutes. The price for the campsite is not 25.50 but 29.50.

The restaurant has a limited menu but reasonable prices. Cycle paths are sufficient and easy towards Trier, Luxembourg, and Saarburg.
