Beautiful location, but not such a friendly welcome.

The sanitary facilities are very clean, the pitches are beautiful, and there is plenty to do in the area. Tasty meat, sandwiches, and beers are for sale at the campsite.

The campsite is located high in the Harz Mountains and is therefore very cold, especially at night. We took the steam train from Wernigerode up the mountain to the Brocken. It was great fun. We walked back to the campsite in fog and heavy snow showers. A walk of over 9 km, but it gave us a great sense of satisfaction. We paid €45.80 per night for the campsite, including electricity, for 2 people and a camper. The price is too high, despite the excellent sanitary facilities.
