Great location for visiting the city, on foot or by bike. It is a glorified parking lot with amenities. Toilet free, shower is paid. Tasty sandwiches, coffee, and cappuccino in the morning. So, for visiting the city, we found it perfectly fine. Packed; so book in advance!

A good base for Leipzig, but that's about all there is to say. Uninviting parking lot, expensive, shower 2.50, chemical toilet 3.50, nice business model. The train runs right past the fence (but slowly, hardly any noise).

Upon arriving at the camper site, we were kindly received by the manager, who immediately told us that the site was full due to reservations. We were, however, still able to get a spot between the parked tourist buses.
