The campsite is right by the sea and is clean and quiet. There's a small shop and a restaurant. During our stay, a fishmonger's van was also there selling fresh fish. The small town of Burg is easily accessible by bicycle. This campsite is highly recommended for those visiting Fehmarn.

Great campsite, motorhome pitches right in front of the entrance. Pitches are marked a bit unclearly. Indicate before registering that you require a motorhome pitch.
From Ascension Day to Pentecost, there is a higher rate of €25; the website stated otherwise.
Had a nice meal on the restaurant terrace.

The municipality of Fehmarn has banned motorhomes from all regular parking spaces and forces everyone to campsites. This usually means high prices, along with the Kurtaxe, that the municipality demands from all visitors.

Südstrand offers what is required of a campsite, but for motorhomes there is no pleasant environment – a bit overgrown. El is missing in many places. However, there is a nice restaurant with excellent food of various kinds.
