The owners are incredibly nice.

Everything here is just perfect.

The sanitary facilities are spotless.

We second the previous reviews; it really is a lovely campsite by the river, you can jump straight into the water, and you can rent a SUP or a small boat. Very friendly owners, very helpful. There is a bread roll service and a small mini-market.

The sanitary facilities are brand new and very modern, with taps that not only provide water but also blow air to dry your hands. We even saw a dishwasher for communal use.

Camping pitches and (bordered) tent pitches are mixed together. The atmosphere is remarkably good; you can simply walk hand in hand across the campsite. People greet each other with a 'moin' and often with a smile as well. The new and clean sanitary facilities are top-notch. The surrounding area is great for cycling. A beautiful circular walk can be taken by following the loop path along the Eider, just west of the campsite.
