We are here for the second time to enjoy the fantastic starry sky. Everything you need is there. Simple but clean. Pure solitude with a distant view of the Rhön and the Arche as a neighbor. 
If no one is there, you just have to call and not drive back in frustration......

Everything closed and looked deserted. You drive all the way there for that. Well bummed!

campsite with beautiful views of the surroundings, location is at a former barracks building from the GDR.
friendly owner has converted this into a guest house and sanitary facilities for the camping guests.
definitely worth a few days for walking and cycling
