We reserved by phone and were allowed to arrive late in the evening.

We could choose our own seats.
When settling the bill, I felt the price-quality ratio was not in proportion.

Beautiful campsite. Very clean sanitary facilities. Friendly reception, the owner's daughter speaks good Dutch.

Downside: Wi-Fi was not working.

Beautiful cycling routes along the Saale.

We stayed here with our campervan during the Long Ascension weekend in 2026.

Beautiful location and a great base for cycling to Jena (approx. 20 min.).
The campsite is a bit outdated but is being worked on. It takes time/investment. Sanitary facilities and showers are fine. We were by the lake, where you do need a long power cable of at least 25m. Nice owners.

Quiet place with bird sounds from morning till evening. Had a great time!
