Positive: Oberhof is easy to reach. Located close to the Rennsteig hiking trail. Friendly welcome.

Negative: Huge open space on asphalt with no atmosphere. The trash cans in the restroom were overflowing and there was no toilet paper. This means it wasn't cleaned every day!

Excellent camper site. Electricity is available for a fee. There are toilets and a large recreation room. A private bathroom can be rented for €14.00. Friendly owner. Everything is within walking distance of the village and the start of hiking trails. A main road runs behind it, but it's quiet at night.

The location is very good, 5 minutes to downtown, hiking trails start right across the street. But the pitch itself is pretty horrible, mostly broken tar, weeds growing through, everything crooked and humped. This urgently needs to be renovated. Shouldn't be a problem at the price called here...
