What a beautiful place this is. Pelicans, and dozens of other bird species, literally fly past your awning. The peace and the view are breathtaking.

The campsite is really in a state of disrepair, but a little further down by the jetty, it is a fine place to stay. There are a few water points and nothing else; perhaps the rubbish container is worth mentioning.

You can stay in two sections; we are on the old campsite, which is perfect. Beautiful view over the lake, and the electricity is still on. We went to ask at the restaurant, but it is free (we also had a perfect meal). It is now owned by the municipality and I would really like it to stay open. There is a magnificent toilet block with showers, toilets, and a washing-up area with hot water. But unfortunately, sorry for writing it this way, the slobs among us make a complete mess of it. Highly recommended.

A truly magical location.
Beautiful pitches, not crowded, recently built restrooms—not flashy but functional.
The view is phenomenal.
Absolutely recommended.
