This is a great campsite for visiting the Meteora monasteries. We chose the VIP tour, although you can also catch a bus up to the monasteries if you prefer. We really enjoyed the tour, and it took away all the worry and hassle, especially in the July heat.

The campsite facilities were excellent, with clean, well-maintained amenities, a good restaurant, and a fantastic swimming pool, which was an absolute godsend in this heat.

Good campsite. The pitches aren't very spacious, but still manageable if you stay under 7 meters. There's a decent restaurant at the campsite, but there are many more in the village. There's a small shop, but there is also a mini-market and a good bakery right here in the village. One of the monasteries is within walking distance. For the rest, you have to cycle or drive. Expect a lot of fellow tourists, but it really is a must-see.

A great location to visit the monasteries of Meteora!! You can also rent electric bikes there, and visiting the monasteries is perfectly doable with them!

However, the spaces are cramped, especially when a group like Endless on Wheels is there.

Do leave for the monasteries on time, because it gets very crowded quickly with hordes of tourists on buses!
