Parking Taverna Faros

We stayed here for three nights; it's a beautiful spot with a stunning view of the wild sea and the island of Zakinthos. The owner is friendly; he cooked delicious food. We had moussaka with thatziki, which was really delicious. The toilets looked clean; the outdoor shower wasn't hot, but the Wi-Fi was good.

Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, with a narrow access road due to cars parked to the side, a small, family-friendly pitch, a mix of gravel and sand with a slight slope, sufficient side clearance from the neighbors, no shade for the vehicles, excellent Wi-Fi. The Faros taverna at the end of the street is separate from the pitch and offers excellent, affordable home-cooked food. We loved it!

Great for a campsite. Georges, the host, speaks German and is a real local. His food is highly recommended. Don't expect a 5-star campsite. It's a bit cramped at lunchtime due to the village.
