Great place, was there at the beginning of April on a weekend with nice weather. Free beach access outside season with some food and drink tents. Nice castle, worth a visit, 2 km away in the center of Szigliget. Nice beach for sunbathing or swimming.
No services here but a level, gravel surface in mixed parking. We spent a quiet night here and woke up to find that the local half marathon was in progress. There is a local bar and as our stay was out of season we had free access to the park and the lakeside. A good spot for an overnight stay. Not near the town.
lees meerFantastic place, flat ground, right on the lake with so many activities on offer parking is free entry to the lake cost around €5 for 4 of us, there are showers and toilets included in that price, lots of local bars and restaurants, cheap, but no facilities as such, need to get there either late at night or really early as it gets packed in the summer holidays
