It had rained and the field was soggy. so stood on the edge on the paved part. You could also stand a little further away. There it was ok. Walked through the entire gorge of Thingvellir from the campsite. It's a long walk, but worth it. Sanitary good. Showers are nice and free. No water in or out. also no toilet emptying. Must go somewhere else.
