August 2023 June 2022 There are 2 adjacent campsites belonging to the forest manager. We were on Altavik. Peaceful spacious site among the trees with sheltered sites by the lake. Unique in Iceland! There is no electricity on Altavik. The showers are not in use at the moment. We were allowed to use the showers at Höfðavík (2km away). 1800isk pp
