€35 for 2 people and a campervan. After a full day of rain and a flat tire on the 35, it was wonderful to warm up in the hot tub and enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant. Other amenities are basic. It's recommended to check the road conditions on road.is.

In the summer in dry weather the 35 is good to drive with a 2WD. This campsite is great for the highlands and there is a nice hot pot right next to the simmering fields. I also visited Kerlingarfjoll and I got there without any problems. The hveravellir there is really spectacular and you can stay on the campsite in the basecamp.

Everything there what you can expect in the highlands. Accessible only with 4x4. Sanitary facilities are acceptable. No electricity available. Everyone with his trash again.
