Spacious campsite on a grass field, with a grass-covered earthen embankment and wooden partitions as windbreaks. Wooden chalet with sanitary facilities available. Four electricity hook-ups. Playground with a bouncy castle for children. Part of the Camping Card App; reception in the café/restaurant at the pier, across the street.

We got a tip from the owner to walk to the lighthouse. We drove the camper a short distance in that direction, but the gravel road was very bumpy. After that, we walked the rest of the way, over 8.5 km round trip. Lots of birds along the way. The campsite shower facilities were particularly good by Icelandic standards.

spacious field, toilet building is not finished. A lot of rain today, so you can't go there with the camper, but the manager allowed us to park there at some parking bays along the campsite. He also runs the restaurant by the sea, where you can eat fries with a burger or chicken. 
There was now a festival, people must have fun here too. But the toilet block the next morning…..I didn't take that into account though
