Nice campsite with beautiful views. It is not allowed to stay overnight in the parking lot. That is clearly stated. Not allowed anywhere in Iceland. Museum at the campsite was unfortunately not open. No showers, but it is possible to empty the toilet. So a great place, which we are happy to pay for.

Overnight at the lighthouse in the parking lot no longer allowed. Large meadow and protected by a stone wall meadow area to the sea with picnic areas as a campsite. Especially suitable for 'rental car tourists', as the airfield is within reach.

Great place at the lighthouse. Nice view of the sea. Restaurant with museum of local history next to = reception. Dreamlike sunsets. Sanitary facilities at the restaurant. Open rinsing area at the entrance.
