The campsite is well-equipped with washing machines and sanitary facilities – but due to the high traffic, it's noticeably less clean than elsewhere – and the pitches are spacious and plentiful. However, the basic outdoor shower really needs to be installed in a building or bungalow – given the campsite's popularity, it's not very inviting.

Campsite on the edge of the village. Pay at the golf club, where there is also a washing machine and dryer (1000 ISK together) and a heated lounge. It's useful to pay attention to the wind when you choose your spot, as the wind can be strong (here too). Toilet building is modern and clean. We did not use the outdoor showers, we prefer to go to the swimming pool (even though it costs entrance, 1200 ISK pp). Camping costs 1600 ISK pp and electricity costs 1300 ISK.

Not a campsite where you have to stand at the weekend. The campsite is overcrowded with Icelandic tourists. 2 x 3 toilets is not enough for that amount of people. We found the 2 outdoor showers no problem. Toilets are clean
