We were treated like criminals by the campsite owners today. Reason: during the hour wait before reception opened, we had the audacity to run a load of laundry in one of the three paid washing machines. These were only for campsite guests. Our explanation that we wanted to stay overnight and that we had called twice to make a reservation was ignored. They are probably nice people—they are Irish, after all—but today was very embarrassing.

We were more than welcome here. It was difficult to find something for two nights during the holiday season, but thanks to the friendly owner, we managed to find something. Our thanks to her for that as well. The surroundings are beautiful; the lovely beach is within walking distance. We are glad we were able to stay here.
