The car park still exists and the pier is signposted from the R335. There are no amenities. The road to the pier is very narrow and it is difficult for long motorhomes to turn around at the pier.

The way there is very narrow - scratches on the Womo included. The place is lit and protected from the wind. Short walk with dog is possible. With long Womo turning around could be problematic, because the pier is just 5.5 meters wide.

at the Croagh Patrick mountain - short access road is narrow - which may cause problems with long motorhomes - the pier is not crowded and has an adjacent sandy beach - good shelter against the wall when the wind blows! - center 4km
