Stunning spot to stay over. We were here off season so not to many about. Make sure you've all you need with you as there's nothing other than a layby to park in, walks and the view. Levelling ramps are handy here too. Very quiet night. The wind was strong(ish) but was blowing off shore so we were protected by the land rising behind us but I think it'd have been a different story if it had been blowing onshore. Worth checking before driving over.

Five stars for the location alone; facilities are also not there. Locals come here to spot dolphins etc. and enjoy the sunset, it was wonderfully quiet at night. With the front wheels slightly raised against the edge of the abyss, we didn't need any blocks, at most a little confidence in our camper. Drove past Pier Head Hotel the next morning and we saw we had made the right choice.
