great place. bit out of the way but lovely views of the mountains. Aherlow hotel 2kw away. good food. €30 without electric.

July 2023 July 2023 Nice spacious place, facilities fine. Nature and walks nearby. Also suitable to visit Cahir and Cashel castle if the weather is really too intense for the mountains.

Very good facilities on site and plenty of locsl walks and a couple of hill climbing treks nearby. Try Lough Muskry trek 1277 ft accent which took us 3.5 hours at an easy pace. Pub and shops a little bit away by bike other than that one of the best sites we’ve stayed in on this trip round the south of Ireland.
