This is no longer a campsite. There are now houses, there is a chain in front of the entrance and the sign with the camping symbol along the road has been removed. Similar to developments in the Netherlands with project developers. we drove on and found a spot at Snorrastadir Farm Hollidays about 50 km further east. Nice but limited place along the river with sanitary facilities in nearby building. Kr 3000.

This campsite is not open in September. There is a chain in front of it. Even unclear whether it is a campsite.

Nice place right on the ocean, with a view over the glacier. Sanitary OK. Beach is nearby. Beautiful horseback ride made on the beach, through the dunes and the sea. Nice horses, highly recommended!
