*August 2026*

A great campsite with plenty of clean sanitary facilities in the basement. When we were there it was very hot and there was virtually no shade, which meant we left after just one day. We received friendly assistance, and there is also a restaurant with a bar. It is a 14 km bike ride to Aosta, along a beautifully laid-out cycle path beside the river.

The valley near Aosta is amazing. The appearance of the restaurant and the cottages looks perfect. The toilet building in the basement and its cleanliness are a major downside. At the end of the school year, an entire class comes there to eat and let off steam, running around the toilet building. The rubbish they leave behind is not cleaned up. You can get to Aosta by bike or bus, but crossing the busy road is difficult, and there is no path.

Beautifully situated terraced campsite in the valley, within cycling distance of Aosta city center, with a bike path next to the river. Excellent sanitary facilities and a lovely restaurant with delicious pinsa (a pizza alternative). From here, you can take scenic day trips to mountain peaks like Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, and Gran Paradiso. On the way home, we took the St. Bernard Pass, offering stunning views during the drive. Easily manageable with a campervan!
