Fantastic place for an overnight stay. From Rome straight through the Gran Sasso to the Adriatico. Amazing view, and idd the sausages and arosticinni are delicious. no amenities, though waste containers.

A fantastically beautiful route, you imagine yourself in another continent. We are here on May 1st and have plenty of space. Magical view all around. Unreal silence. The grilled sausages from the marcelleria (grill hut opposite the parking lot) are really delicious.

fantastic place, but not recommended in August, when it loses much of its charm due to the number of people present. excellent starting point for walks and trekking.
