Camping Tronchey

Neat campsite in a beautiful setting. Lots of hikers and mountain bikers. The sanitary facilities are clean but dated. Only one standard toilet, the rest squat toilets. It's a good thing you don't have that problem with a campervan. Showers are €1 per 4 minutes. Prices are considerably higher during peak season. This time it was €43 per pitch, with electricity (for 3 people). The surrounding area more than makes up for it. Bus transportation in the area is free.

beautiful location with stunning views. hopelessly outdated in terms of plumbing. only squat toilets for men. in the camper you do not suffer from that, but then there is the problem of getting there. The access road from the Mont Blanc tunnel is certainly a challenge with too wide campers. however, the walks do a lot of good! walk back a bit from the campsite next to the golf course, cross a bridge, continue and then Mont Blanc!
