Camping Baia di Gallipoli Camping Resort

We're holding back a fifth star only because of the inconvenience of getting around to visit other towns. There's no decent bike path for at least 4 km around, and transportation is sporadic. Excellent campsite with excellent amenities and mostly shaded pitches; pricey but not excessive. Decent entertainment for adults and children, and a fantastic beach with a shuttle service in five minutes. It might be crowded in high season, but not now.

Very friendly staff. Clean sanitary facilities. Very dog-friendly. Constant shuttle bus to the beach. Unfortunately dogs are only allowed on the free beach. The sea is a dream. Great supermarket. Settore M site, shaded lawn. Camper, 2 adult dogs plus tax, €60. Gallipoli can be reached by bike or by bus. We initially wanted to stay 2 days, but extended it to 4. If you like it, there is very child-friendly entertainment.

Well-organized campsite, clean services, continuous free shuttle service to the beach, large and shaded pitches, possibility to get water while keeping the camper stationary, friendly, helpful and kind staff..
