Stayed here overnight in April 2026. We arrived early in the evening, but the automated entry system wouldn’t let us in because the site was supposedly full, even though we could see quite a few empty pitches. We were told this was for safety reasons, so there would always be space for emergency vehicles if needed. We were able to enter the following morning. If you’re planning to stay here, it’s best to arrive early.

Ideal place for an overnight stay to vist the city.  We paid 25 euros by card.  Sanitary ok and a Lidl supermarket next door.  Bus 250m from site straight to the town centre.  We brought dinner back with us from one of the many splendid delis in Parma and sat outside with a view of the motorway which made a change from lakes and mountains!!!

We had a pleasant stay here; the spot was fine, as were the toilet facilities. Yes, the road was a bit noisy, but inside the camper it sounded just like the sound of the waves, nice and relaxing. For added charm, planes also fly overhead.

We walked to the beautiful city center; it gives you some exercise! It was very doable; we passed a nice second-hand market just over the bridge, on a Monday.
