A nice campsite for visiting and exploring the picturesque surroundings. It is right next to the highway, but we actually weren't bothered by it. There is a small pool to cool off in and the sanitary facilities are fine. Portofino is easily accessible by bike on an electric bike; about 40 minutes. We visited Genoa by train.

When you drive to the campsite, you might think it couldn't possibly be any good between the highways and sports fields, but nothing could be further from the truth. It is a beautiful spot with a swimming pool and clean toilets and showers.

There is also a restaurant on the campsite and a Coop nearby.

The neighborhood is very busy and chaotic with traffic, so it is not a bicycle-friendly area. Nor is it a place if you love absolute silence.

Nevertheless, we enjoyed ourselves there; the people were friendly.

Great campsite, 6 minutes by bike to Rapallo beach, which is a really nice town too, nice restaurants and cute shops, great atmosphere, all info at the campsite about buses/boat to Portofino
1 boat at the harbor goes along the coast, highly recommended, you are in Portofino in no time (9km), many supermarkets nearby, the pool is nice and pleasantly warm (in May!) friendly staff
