Good to spend the night. We visited Milan taking the train, which is about 15 minutes away. It has regular services.

I haven't stayed there yet but talking to a camper who often stops there I discovered that it's not at all true that the stay is unlimited as written on the app. The maximum time is 48 hours, after which you either leave or the police kick you out. We try to write things as they really are!
