Beautiful, spacious campsite with mostly regulars (I think). We enjoyed the Italian atmosphere and the delicious food at the campsite. We are staying one night.

The majority of the campsite is for permanent residents. Sanitary facilities are fine. Large field for hikers; you can choose your own pitch. Minor downside: no washing machine available for hikers and only one hot water tap out of every 10 for washing dishes/handwashing.

Great city campsite, good spot, sanitary facilities clean and indeed very friendly, English-speaking manager.
Restaurant great, excellent value for money!!

Asti is definitely worth a visit. We were only there for 1 day, but it actually deserves more time.
