A campervan site at a private residence in a beautiful garden. Unfortunately, there is no electricity or grey water disposal anymore. The cost remained €25 unchanged. That makes this spot less attractive. The adjacent dog walking area causes some nuisance at 6:30 AM. However, it remains a perfect parking spot in terms of location for visiting Cannobio.

Coming from the deep south on my way home, I thought I would make a nice stop here..

However, asking €25 just to be allowed to park, to stay overnight.. no electricity, no toilet, no showers… and you aren't even allowed to sit outside or eat.. it is absolutely ridiculous.

No, give me the campervan sites/campsites in the south of Italy any day. There, for €25 all-inclusive, you get showers, toilets, hot water for washing dishes. Also more sun, friendlier staff, and tastier food.

A campervan site just as you'd expect. Some small spots, but on the plus side, you can be at the port of Cannabio in 10 minutes. Perfect for one night!
