The check-in process is logistically very poorly organized. See below for how it works. We were lucky with the queue, but we heard that you sometimes stand in line for 2 hours and still don't get a spot... and reservations are not possible. The spots are sometimes filled twice by putting someone right next to you, so watch out for your "sea view"!

There is hardly any beach. One of the sanitary buildings is far below par.

Pizza is tasty, fresh rolls, no toilet paper

We stood in line to check in and eventually received a wristband. The rest is clearly described below; pre-check-in is really a must. It is also a large campsite with cabins and a beautiful view of La Madalena. Highly recommended to do that for a day by bike. With over 40km, you can easily cycle across both islands.
