A strategic and convenient stop for visiting Catania. When we arrived on September 10, the site was almost empty, allowing us to choose a pitch at our leisure. Quick entry requires a license plate. Cost: €25/day (including €5 for electricity). Almost all pitches have water and electricity. Waste disposal and basic amenities are available (spartan and could be cleaned better). The bus stop to the city center is right at the entrance. The owner, Carlo, is very friendly.

Everything has already been said about this handy campsite. A tip from us: take bus 40 and get off at Via Dusmet (stop 1780) to get into town. you can hop on any bus that stops here. On the way back, take the bus from Via Dusmet (stop 1780) and get off at the large roundabout (bus stop 15). You may take any bus that heading in the direction of „Faro Sciara Biscari“ or the airport (Don’t take the express bus though.)
